On this journey you will visit the Salar de Atacama, where the National Reserve “Los Flamencos” is located, a huge natural setting of 100 km of length from north to south, which surprises by its arid immensity. You will also marvel at the Laguna Chaxa, a setting of spectacular beauty that is divided into several water mirrors where it inhabits many flamingos and other birds, such as Parinas large and small. Then, we will reach the town of Toconao, which stands out for itsheritage architecture, with the church of San Lucas, and its belltower, declared a National Monument. Agriculture and handicrafts are the main source of work for its inhabitants, highlighting the making of artifacts in volcanic stone.
